I want to pre-empt this by saying, we have a large family with 6-9 kids at any given time. With that being said, I thought this would be the best thing to use for family meals around the table so we could dish up food without having to stand up. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and although it connected wonderfully and would work really nicely for a table that fits 4-6 people, our table is just too big for this. I still ended up standing to serve, and the serving dishes would have to be fairly small in order to fit on the circular platforms and still go around the loop. That being said, if this could be designed to be longer for a 8-10 person table with platforms slightly bigger, it would have been perfect.
